3 Peaks Cyclocross, Yorkshire Dales, UK
Swiss Side rider James Eddison put his Franc wheelset to the ultimate test last weekend (26th September 2011) in Europe’s grueling 3 Peaks Cyclocross race in the Yorkshire Dales, in England. This course more suited to mountainbikes, is the ultimate test for any wheel. James trained months on his cyclocross bike on the hardest, rockiest, steepest trails in the Swiss Alps with his Franc wheelset in preparation for the race. James and his Francs excelled in the punishing conditions and he made it trouble free through the muddy rock gardens to the finish. Freipass am Klausen 2011! Swiss Side war dabei! 24. September 2011
Am Samstag den 24.09. organisierte der Verein www.freipass.ch einen Radtag am Klausenpass. Die Passstrasse war auf der Südseite ab Unterschächen und von der Nordseite ab Linthal aus für jegliche Art von Motorfahrzeugen gesperrt.
Die Veranstaltung lockte rund 3500 Radfahrer an. Egal auf welchem Fitnessniveau sich die einzelnen Teilnehmer befanden, alle trafen sich nach einer mehr oder weniger langen Auffahrt oben auf dem Klausenpass.
