    The team 2022 in detail

    New to the team:

Denis Chevrot: Ironman winner in Western Australia (2014) and Austria (2021) and second fastest French triathlete as of September 2021.

Justine Mathieux: The French pro triathlete won her first race at Ironman 70.3 Les Sables D’Olonne in 2020, just one year after turning pro. Runner-up at Ironman Mallorca 2021 and third place Ironman Lanzarote 2021.

Rasmus Svenningsson: 2021 was quite a year for the pro triathlete from Sweden: 3rd at Ironman South Africa and Ironman 70.3 Dubai, 2nd at Ironman Austria, winner of Ironman Lake Placid.

Andrea Salvisberg: As a member of the Swiss national team, Andrea’s focus is on Olympic distance racing. He’s got 5 Swiss Championship titles under his belt, finished 3rd at the European Championships 2016 and won the silver medal at the 2018 European Championships in the mixed relay category.

    Continuing in the core team:

Patrick Lange: 2 times Ironman World Champion in 2017 & 2018. Winner of Challenge Roth and Ironman Tulsa in 2021, the German athlete ended the 2021 season ranked 5th in the PTO World Ranking. And Patrick is hungry for more.

Laura Philipp: Her motto is ‘Work Hard, Have Fun, Kick Ass’. 2021 European Ironman Champion, 3 x Ironman winner and 15 x Ironman 70.3 winner Laura is one of the biggest up and coming athletes in the triathlon.

Jan van Berkel: The 3 x Winner of Ironman Switzerland (2018, 2019, 2021) is also integral in supporting Swiss Side R&D projects.

Andreas Dreitz: Coming from a cycling background, Andi is one of the super-bikers on the triathlon pro scene. 11 x half distance victories
and 2 x Ironman / Challenge victories including Challenge Roth.

Daniela Bleymehl: After becoming a mother for a second time, 2022 is Daniela’s come-back season. She has 4 x Ironman / Challenge victories including Challenge Roth, and 5 x Ironman 70.3 / Challenge victories under her belt.

Lisa Nordén: With a background in Olympic distance triathlon including 2 ITU World Triathlon Champion titles (2012 & 2006 (U23)), and as an Olympic medallist, Lisa is a seasoned pro. In her transition to the long distance in 2021, Lisa won her debut race at Ironman Lake Placid, including setting a new bike course record. In 2022 she will be looking to cement her place as one of the leading long-distance triathletes.

Yvan Jarrige: Winner of Ironman 70.3 Rio de Janeiro 2019 and podium finisher in Ironman 70.3 Les Sables D’Olonne 2021, Yvan has a keen eye and attention to detail for aerodynamics.

Badreddin Wais: Syria-born pro-cyclist living in Switzerland, Swiss Side is proud to have Badreddin as an ambassador. In 2021, he took part at the Tokyo Olympics, representing the Refugee Team in the time trial and road race.

    Young gun:

Henry Graf: He sprinted to a DTU European Championship title in the junior category in Kitzbuehel. For the second year already he’ll hunt for victories on Swiss Side wheels.
