Laura Philipp wins Ironman 70.3 Mallorca

Swiss Side pro athlete Laura Philipp (GER) wins the Ironman 70.3 Mallorca on her HADRON Ultimate aero wheels! Laura finished the swim 3rd, and then passed all rivals with a race-best 2:29:31 bike split that gave her a 3:31 lead into the half marathon. Laura finished the race in 4:21:41 with a 5:10 margin ahead of 2nd-place Emma Pallant (GBR) and a 11:22 margin over 3rd-place Amelia Watkinson (NZL). In the mens pro division, David McNamee (GBR) won the race with a time of 3:56:49 ahead of Andreas Dreitz (GER) and Miquel Blanchart Tinto (ESP).  Photos: Ingo Kutsche
