Thank you for using the Swiss Side website. The content of is the sole property of BANT Engineered Design GmbH. In using this website you are deemed to have read and agreed to the following terms and conditions:

Privacy statement

We are committed to protecting your privacy. Authorized employees and working associates of the company only use any information collected from individual customers on a need to know basis. We constantly review our systems and data to ensure the best possible service to our customers.


Customer records are regarded as confidential and therefore will not be divulged to any third party, other than any appropriate authorities if legally required to do so Customers have the right to request sight of, and copies of any and all Client Records we keep, on the proviso that we are given reasonable notice of such a request. Customers are requested to retain copies of any literature issued in relation to the provision of our services. Where appropriate, we shall issue the Customer with appropriate written information, handouts or copies of records as part of an agreed contract, for the benefit of both parties. We will not sell, share, or rent your personal information to any third party or use your e-mail address for unsolicited mail. Any emails sent by this Company will only be in connection with the provision of agreed services and products.


Exclusions and limitations

The information on this web site is provided on an “as is” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, this Company: excludes all representations and warranties relating to this website and its contents or which is or may be provided by any affiliates or any other third party, including in relation to any inaccuracies or omissions in this website and/or the Company’s literature; and excludes all liability for damages arising out of or in connection with your use of this website. This includes, without limitation, direct loss, loss of business or profits (whether or not the loss of such profits was foreseeable, arose in the normal course of things or you have advised this Company of the possibility of such potential loss), damage caused to your computer, computer software, systems and programs and the data thereon or any other direct or indirect, consequential and incidental damages.

The above exclusions and limitations apply only to the extent permitted by law. None of your statutory rights as a consumer are affected.


Payment on this website my only be done via the Shopping Cart and its associated online payment options. Please refer separately to the relevant online payment system terms and conditions. All goods remain the property of the Company until full payment has been received.

Cancellation and refunds policy

Order cancellation is only possible before an order has been issued for shipping. Contact us immediately in the case of a cancelled order. Goods may be returned within 10 days of receipt providing they are unopened and the packaging is fully intact. Please note that for unused returns a restocking fee of €35 applies. The customer is liable for all shipping costs, including the original shipping to the customer and the return shipping to the origin, including any fees or charges which may apply. Refunds will not be made until the returned product is received in original condition with all packaging intact. We reserve the right to deduct any costs incurred for replacing any damaged packaging or product on returned new goods. In this case the customer will be informed.

Safety notice

The use of cycling products such as wheels carries elements of risk which may result in serious injury or death.

It is the rider’s responsibility to regularly check their equipment and ensure it is safe for use. This includes but is not limited to checking the secure installation of sprockets, tubes & tyres, correct spoke tension, wheel alignment, wheel component wear, mounting fastener torque, tyre pressure and suitable tyre tread.

If you are at all unsure about the installation and maintenance of your product, please contact your local bike mechanic for assistance.

Tyre pressures of 120psi should not be exceeded (for clincher wheels only).

The maximum permitted rider weight for wheel sets with spoke counts of 18 front, 20 rear, is 90kg.

The maximum permitted rider weight for wheel sets with spoke counts of 20 front, 24 rear, is 100kg.

Warranty and returns

All Swiss Side products are sold with a limited 2 year manufacturer’s warranty from the date of purchase to protect against manufacturing faults and defects.

Before returning any product, contact must be made with our customer service department at: for further instruction. Upon the authorisation of a return, an RMA # (Return Merchandise Authorisation) will be issued and must be included in the return shipping address as per instruction. Returns without an RMA # will not be accepted and will be returned to sender.

Please note that for unused returns a restocking fee of €35 applies for the first item and an additional €10 each for additional item returned. Why? We need to instruct our warehouse to inspect the product to make sure it has indeed been returned unused and with all the original contents. There are costs associated with this process.

Please also note that returning shipment or replacement delivery fees and costs are at the customers expense.

The warranty does not cover:

  • Products where no proof of purchase is available with the original receipt or invoice.
  • Normal wear and tear associated with normal cycling, such as wear on braking surfaces, seals, bearings, pawls & springs, and scratches not present upon receipt of the product.
  • Damage resulting from the failure to perform normal regular maintenance including general checks and periodic lubrication and maintenance of the free hub body assembly.
  • Abuse or improper use of the product.
  • Any modification to the product. In the case of part replacement, original or compatible spares must be used.
  • Maintenance or repair made by an unqualified party. Contact us for any maintenance or repair questions as well as for the addresses of certified Swiss Side repair centres.
  • Accident damage. For the replacement of accident damaged products, contact us for a discount under the Swiss Side accident replacement scheme.
  • Any shipping costs incurred for shipping to or from Swiss Side.
  • The supply of any replacement product whilst another is being repaired.

Swiss Side reserves the right to replace a product with an equivalent one if the same product is not available.
