In 2019 he won the Ironman 70.3 Asia Pacific Championship Vietnam with a new course record. Swiss Side works closely with Patrick, to optimize his aerodynamics to make him even faster including Project 101, which Swiss Side, Canyon and Sauber Engineering carried out together, with the aim to break the 8-hour make at the 2018 World Championship race in Kona. A goal that is also on the agenda for 2021.

Daniela Ryf (33 years old from Rumisberg, Switzerland), Ironman World Champion in 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018 Ironman 70.3. Past year she made her Hawaii debut and finished fourth - she also made it to the top of the podium of Triathlon Buschütten and Ironman 70.3 Marbella. Laura’s talent for triathlon was quickly recognized. In 2012 she became part of the ERDINGER Alkoholfrei Perspective Team and only 3 years later she stepped it up to the Pro Team. We are confident to see a lot more of this amazing lady.
Andreas Dreitz (32 years old from Lichtenfels, Germany) fulfilled his dream of winning the legendary Challenge Roth in 2019 and won the Ironman 70.3 Marbella. With more than ten 70.3 triathlon victories, Andi took the victory at the Ironman 70.3 Wiesbaden 2016 to claim European Champion title. In 2017, a new chapter of Andi’s career began as he started his first full-length Ironman in Italy and was rewarded immediately with a victory. One year later, he showed his promise and performed well at Ironman World Championships Hawaii with a 13th place finish. For 2021, he looks to continue his mission to compete and win the Ironman World Championship in Kona.
Jan van Berkel
Jan van Berkel (35, from Bülach, Switzerland) has left his mark on his home race by winning Ironman Switzerland two times in a row. To ensure that the eleventh-placed athlete of the 2019 Ironman World Championship achieves his goal to finish in the top ten of the world this year on Hawaii (or even on the podium), Swiss Side supports the Swiss athlete with fast wheels and aero optimization.
Maurice Clavel (33 years old from Freiburg in Breisgau, Germany) won Challenge Walchsee-Kaiserwinkl in 2019, came in as runner-up at Ironman 70.3 Gdynia and thus once again showed that he is a fighter. In 2018, he won Ironman 70.3 Vichy and furthermore took 3rd place at Ironman South Africa 2018. Maurice on Swiss Side: "Like no other company, Swiss Side stands for innovation and advancement in the aerodynamics of wheels. The will to push the limits of what is possible every day and to improve performance is what unites us. I am very proud and grateful to be a part of the Swiss Side family.” His targets for 2021 are Hawaii Quali, then in Kona to be within the Top 10 and win every race in which he participates.
Lisa Nordén (36 years old from Stockholm, Sweden) “It’s time for the ultimate challenge” – this is the 2021 motto of pro triathlete Lisa Nordén. After a silver medal at the Olympics in 2012, a variety of wins and podium finishes in short- and half-distance races, she is ready to take the next step, i.e., go for long-distance triathlon. Swiss Side is proud to be partnering with the Swedish triathlon icon and supporting her on her road to Kona 2021.
Raelert Brothers: Andreas Raelert
Andreas Raelert (44 years old from Rostock, Germany) world record holder in the full distance Ironman triathlon from 2011- 2016, second fastest ever over the full distance, two-time Olympian and five-time Kona podium finisher. For this legendary athlete, who won the 2019 Nordpokal State Championship in Schwerin, Swiss Side put their entire Formula 1 aero know-how to use to develop the fastest triathlon time trial bike in the world, together with his bike sponsor Cube.
Raelert brothers: Michael Raelert
Michael Raelert (40 years old from Rostock, Germany) multiple 70.3 Ironman World Champion and European Champion as well as world record holder in the 70.3 Ironman since 2009. In 2019 he took first places at the Tweet Coast Enduro and the Raby Bay Long Course in Australia as well as the second place at each, the Chiemsee Triathlon and the Laguna Phuket Triathlon. Michael provides a wealth of experience and inputs for our product development process to ensure that he gets to ride the fastest wheels on the market.
Daniela Bleymehl (32 years old from Darmstadt, Germany), showed her strength in 2019 especially in halft distance races, e. g. by winning Ironman 70.3 Zell am See, Challenge Geraardsbergen and Challenge Heilbronn. In 2018 she won Challenge Roth and Ironman Italy. In 2017 Daniela took the victory at Ironman Hamburg and in 2015 at Ironman Mallorca. Part of the Team ERDINGER Alkoholfrei, Bleymehl is one of the top ladies in long distance triathlon. With Daniela, Swiss Side is adding a strong cyclist to the pro team. Swiss Side will be engaging the entire engineering team's aero knowledge from Formula 1 racing, to ensure she has even faster bike-splits in the future.
Philipp Koutny (37, from Basel, Switzerland) lives and loves triathlon. He has been competing in long distance races since 2013 - initially very successfully as an age grouper. Since 2016 he has had a professional license; and performs just as strong in races: In 2019, e. g., he finished third at the Cannes International Triathlon, second at Ironman Malaysia with a new bike record, won the Zug Triathlon and finished eighth at the Ironman World Championship. A very powerful athlete from the home country of Swiss Side, who we are looking forward to supporting with our aero know-how and top wheels in 2020.
Yvan Jarrige (30, from Rouen, France) expands the Swiss Side professional team to France, making it even more international. And faster! Yvan is not only strong in middle distance racing, which he proved with his victory at Ironman 70.3 Rio de Janeiro in 2019. He is also very aero-affine, which is why we are very confident that our cooperation will lead to a smooth transition to long-distance triathlon in 2021.
Svenja Thoes (30, from Neunkirchen, Germany) discovered triathlon when she won a slot for Ironman 70.3 Mallorca in a raffle. A fateful coincidence, because she immediately took second place in her age group and crowned her age group career with a victory at the Ironman World Championship on Hawaii. Since 2017, she has been racing as a professional, she won Ironman Cozumel, the Challenge Sardinia and conquered several podium places at Ironman 70.3 races. Our aero know-how does not only accompany her in form of her wheels, but also can be found in her Cube Aerium, which Swiss Side co-developed. Therefore, her dream for 2021 to win another Ironman race is bound to pick up a lot of speed. Preferably it will be the one on Hawaii.
