Swiss Side recalls some models of HADRON², HADRON³ and HADRON All-Road

Our wheel manufacturing partner DT Swiss, has issued a product recall notice for specific production batches of the following Swiss Side HADRON wheels. 

• HADRON² All road 450
• HADRON² All road 450 Ultimate
• HADRON² Classic 500
• HADRON² Ultimate 500
• HADRON³ Classic 550
• HADRON³ Classic 650

DT Swiss informs us that only wheels sold from 01 August 2024 onwards with a DT Swiss ID number of 2740000 or higher, are potentially affected by this product safety recall.

DT Swiss has set up a special recall website for customers to check if their wheels are affected: www.dtswiss.com/recall

Please note that HADRON wheel models: 380, 625, 680, 800 and 850 are NOT included in this recall, also all rims manufactured in DT Swiss’s Poland facility (HADRON³ Ultimate models) are NOT affected by this recall.

Although no product defects have been reported for these wheels, in-depth quality checks by DT Swiss have revealed manufacturing concerns similar to those previously identified in DT Swiss’s own ERC/CRC/HEC models which have been recalled. Therefore, as a precautionary measure we issue this recall.

Note that DT Swiss will handle this recall directly with affected customers, including all further communications.
