Finally, the long-anticipated Swiss Side HADRON2 DISC rear wheels reach the triathlon and time trial market. The perfect weapon for those final few watts of aero performance and the all-important seconds on the clock. But this is not just any DISC rear wheel: it’s a technological game changer. While it naturally sets the expected new benchmark in aerodynamic performance, it also innovates in structural design, using an asymmetrical lenticular shape that is hollow inside, with twin foam sandwich construction outer walls. This construction delivers ultra-light weight but also high lateral stiffness for optimum power transfer. The DISC wheel is available in disc and rim brake versions and is tubeless ready.

“At Swiss Side, we make it our goal to deliver maximum performance for the best value for money. The development and production of a DISC rear wheel took so long because it is a very complex and expensive process. Yet we never lost sight of releasing this unique product and we are thrilled to finally be able to offer our customers the unrivalled speed and sensations riding a DISC rear wheel can bring,” says Jean-Paul Ballard, CEO of Swiss Side.
